About Lamplight Lessons
What this is
Lamplight Lessons turns each week’s Come, Follow Me lesson into a presentation you can shape for your own class. You choose the topics and slides, the colors, and the audience, then present live or download your selection.
Independent of the Church
Lamplight Lessons is an independent project. It is not produced, sponsored or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The outline headings, questions, ideas and scripture text come from the Church’s official Come, Follow Me lesson and scriptures, and each lesson page links to every source in your language. For official materials, please visit the Church’s website.

Artwork and content
All artwork is original: paintings made for Lamplight Lessons with an image generator, each showing an object or place named in the scripture on its slide. None depicts the Savior or other sacred figures, and no Church artwork is used. Scripture is quoted from the Church’s editions in each language: the King James Version in English, the Reina-Valera 2009 in Spanish and the Church’s French edition.
Free to use
Lamplight Lessons is free, with nothing to buy and no sign-up.
Fonts
Every font is stored with Lamplight Lessons and loads from this site only, so nothing is fetched from other websites. All are free under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. If you want them on your own computer, each one links to its official download page. PowerPoint files name Calibri and Georgia instead, because those fonts are already on most computers.
Icons
The icons are from Lucide, a free and open source icon set. Only the icons this site uses are stored with it, and they load from this site only.
Privacy
Lamplight Lessons sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. Your language, colors and slide choices are saved only in your own browser. Links to the Church’s website open that site, which has its own privacy policy.
Works offline
After your first visit, the site keeps working without an internet connection. Each lesson can also be downloaded as a single HTML file that runs anywhere, even from a USB stick.
